Barbour

A family-owned, fifth-generation brand established 130 years ago, Barbour is a global success story sold in over 55 countries worldwide, including China, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, the US, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan. In 2021, the company celebrated the centenary of re-waxing, a sustainable service that has helped consumers extend their product lives for the last 100 years.

Initially established by John Barbour in 1894 in South Shields in the Northeast of England to provide outerwear to fishermen, sailors and mariners to protect them from the worst of the British weather, today Barbour offers a complete wardrobe of clothes, accessories and footwear for both men and women. Shirts, knitwear, trousers, footwear, and accessories are now just as much in demand as Barbour’s iconic outerwear.

Forever synonymous with the British countryside, Barbour’s collections now range from practical country clothing to fashion-forward lifestyle collections. The company, which dates back to 1910, continues to inspire ranges. Each season, classic designs are reinterpreted into modern, contemporary silhouettes.
