Apparel Group Joins Forces with Dubai Holding for ‘Gift It Forward’: Aiming to Support Over 8,500 Dubai Residents This Ramadan

In a heartwarming embrace of the spirit of Ramadan, Apparel Group, a global fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate, proudly announces its partnership in the Gift It Forward initiative, launched by Dubai Holding. This initiative, aimed at fostering the values of giving and responsible consumption, will benefit over 8,000 blue-collar workers and 500 low-income families across Dubai, supporting the national #RamadanInDubai campaign. 

Gift It Forward is a unique campaign organized in collaboration with the Community Development Authority (CDA) and includes contributions from an array of partners, including Dubai Holding’s portfolio companies and leading retail brands in the region.  

Apparel Group enhances this noble cause with contributions from its esteemed brands, including Ardene, Babies & More, Beverly Hills Polo Club, Levi’s, The Children’s Place, and 6thStreet. These brands have played a crucial role in revitalizing thousands of new items into unique, one-of-a-kind gifts designed to bring joy to those most in need, while also encouraging mindful consumption across the broader community. 

Volunteers from Apparel Group, alongside those from Dubai Holding and other partners, will play a pivotal role in assembling, packaging, and distributing the new inventory items, which include a variety of goods such as clothing, stationery, books, and accessories.

The Gift It Forward initiative kicked off on the first day of Ramadan and will continue throughout the Holy Month. It is designed to offer family-friendly volunteering opportunities and to strengthen the sense of community during this blessed time. In addition, Apparel Group, along with other participants, will be involved in a series of engaging events and activities organized across Dubai Holding’s destinations to celebrate Ramadan.
